Assignment 1:
Take any 1 minute piece of video, divide it into 10 roughly equal size pieces and apply different special effects to each piece. Try to create something that no one else in the class will do. You may apply more than one effect to a segment but be aware that the more you apply, the slower Adobe Premier will work. Export the finished piece and upload it to your shared Google Drive folder. |
Assignment 2:
Practice using the green screen to composite two images together. Create a 15 second video of a person in front of the green screen and then in Adobe Premier apply the KEYING effect to make the green color transparent. Tweak some of the settings in the effects controls to fine tune the effect. Be sure to put the green screen clip on a higher track and a different image or video clip on the track below it. Export the finished piece and upload it to your shared Google Drive folder. Using the Green Screen effect with WeVideo -------->

Assignment 3:
Record a short interview (20 seconds to 1 minute) between two people. Record over the shoulder shots of both the interviewer and the interviewee so the viewer can see the relationship between them. We should see the face of the person who is talking. Perhaps include an occasional reaction shot or two of the person who is listening as well. Edit the interview together, maybe add some light music in the background and then export the finished piece, uploading the file to your shared Google Drive folder. |
